First Picture on my Blog

I am pretty bad about posting picutres...ok, I've never posted a single picture on my blog until now...so here are some pictures of what I've been up to. (Or rather, these are the pictures on my XD card, some from several months ago, some from Tuesday)
The first 2 are Chloe at the park swinging and scowling, two things she currently enjoys.
The next two a part of a series of pictures that I've been taking as my hair changes.
And the last ones are of making cake pops (Bakerella!!) for enrichment. Thanks for your help April, you're awesome! I wouldn't have finished them without you! I'll have to post some of the graduation suckers for this weekend. That's right, ISAAC IS GRADUATING!!!!
Part of the reason I haven't said anything about him graduating is because we're still going to be here another year while he finishes his masters.....sigh.

Following in her footsteps

It seems to me that my oldest child is unusually...rambunctious, explorative, and sneaky...but maybe I have been overly acusatory and it is typical behaivor for a child or 2 or 3. What brings me to this conclusion is that Chloe seems to be beginning her adventures as she nears the age of 2. This morning I heard Isaac say from the other room, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING????!!!!". When I came to see what "she" was doing Isaac was holding a razor. Chloe, was innocently looking up with an expression that seemed to say, "hi dad, what's up?'. Apparantly she had been sucking on the razor. She did cut her toungue but didn't seem to notice. (It wasn't really bad).
Crazy things Chloe has done.....
Eaten Kenzie's poop.....That one was the worst
Jumps off anything
Eats anything (pennies, pretzles, poop, nightlights-at least she got it in her mouth...she didn't acctually swallow, bobbypins)
She likes to play on my laptop and erase my homework (Whoever made the power button the most exciting and lit up button on the computer didn't have kids)
Hides things

I suppose it isn't too bad yet. I'm sure there will be more. For now I'm grateful that God made us to sleep. When I look in on those little girls who cause so much rucus, I can't help but think they're the most beautiful wonderful things I have ever seen.

Jammie days

I've been on the couch all morning in my long johns and jammies. I realize that since the school year started to wind down that I have become good friends with my couch and laptop. BUT....Today is the start of a new era.
The era where I-
Get up and say my prayers
Take a shower before 7
Get dressed before 8
Eat breakfast before 9
Not get on the laptop before nighttime
Put up my tree before Isaac graduates (...in one week!!!!)
clean my house before new years...or before Andrea comes and stays with me next week
Cook dinner every night
Get my kids dressed no later than an hour after me
Spend some time with my kids playing
Stop watching Kyle XY, Bones, Cheers, Parks and recreations, The office, Glee, Castle, Monk, pushing daisies, Lie to me.....for now
Take the time to do fun things but quality together time things with my kids, like...playing in the snow, drawing christmas trees, making crafts, sewing stockings, making cookies to bring to people...etc
Get batteries for my camera and FINALLY take some pictures before my children grow up
And in general enjoy my days.

Now I think I'll go start by getting ready for the day (even though it is noon) and start cleaning.
